Cala Benirrás, Ibiza, Spain – EUROPE

Benirras, beach Hippies

Located in the north of Ibiza, the beach Benirrás is a small sandy and shingle which contrasts with its wild and hippie atmosphere with other appliances or most exclusive beaches of the island.
Artists and hippies gather there’s been many years for improvisation jam sessions every Sunday evening during sunset. An atmosphere « cool » punctuated by percussion that transports you, relax, sometimes even magical.
The beach is not so far reserved for an informed public or underground: families with small children also come to relax and lunch at the restaurant facing the sea and pleasure boats come here often wet.
On Sunday night, better come early to be on to have a free parking space.

Regarding the seaside activity you can rent pedal boats or canoes. lazy side, umbrellas and chairs.
3 Spanish restaurants serve without fuss you a pitcher of sangria 🙂

The landscape is not left out: Cala Benirrás is surrounded by pine forests, wooded hills and bordered by rocks at both ends. Sugar bread that emerges from the water in the distance is not innocent in the mystical beauty of the place. It is called « the God finger » …
This rock formation offers an amazing sunset, one of the best spot on the island to see the sunset …
