A little-known beach tourists
Celestun, 1h30 of road from Merida, is a small picturesque fishing village on the Gulf of Mexico, located in a listed Nature Park area.
Its beaches stretch for several kilometers. The beach facing the camping Cabañas Camping Ria is rather commonplace. But that which is close to the village to linger: white sand, emerald water color, transparent and warm.
These beaches are not the most beautiful of Mexico in comparison to those of the Quintana Roo region (Tulum, Isla Mujeres).

How to get there ?
Landing the international airport of Merida, then rent a car (an hour and a half drive). Leaving south of Merida in the direction of Uman, follow the signs for Kinchil then Celestun.
You can take a bus leaving from the bus station in the center of Merida (the trip takes about two hours).
