A nature reserve on the list of World Heritage of Humanity by UNESCO
Sian Ka’an (“where the sky is born” in Mayan language) is a biosphere reserve located in Quintana Roo in the Yucatan Peninsula in Mexico, registered since 1987 on the World Heritage List. Protected area, it counts including over 300 species of birds, an incredible diversity of plants and animals and includes marsh, mangrove and rainforest that we have not been able to discover in its entirety.
